What was the highlight of Coron Westown Resort
Would stay again. Loved the pools and room cleanliness. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a bit pricey but considering the cost to taxi into town, the breakfast was worth it. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower were new and accommodating. Pools were clean, Pool chairs were good quality, towel service was great. Quality of staff and pool exceeded my expectations. Staff helped us book a van to the airport and scooter rental.
Location was a little far away from restaurants and entertainment.

Not really value for money
Pool is massive and great. Very clean hotel. Breakfast ok. Accoustic singer at night good. Staff friendly
For the price it is not really worth it in my opinion. Food and drink massively overpriced. Strange system with towels for the pool and not allowed to take any towels out of the hotel... construction going on next door so quite noisy. You can get better for the money to be honest. If you stay here you will need transport to places that are reasonably priced to eat and drink. The corridors where the rooms are have no music playing, no art. A bit of a prison feel. Mountain view room is not a view of a mountain. It is view of the bottom of a mountain which is dark and has a lot of trash! Staff often walk round the back of the rooms so can see into your room through the window

What was the highlight of Coron Westown Resort
Very comfortable stay in a nice resort. Would stay here again!
A cool refreshing drink was offered upon arrival. That was thoughtful. A beautiful resort. Nice view. Nice swimming pool and hot tub. Spacious room. Towels had a very nice scent. Good walk-in shower. Good refrigerator. Airco was good. They are very alert to switch on the power immediately after a power outage. Just outside the room there is a drying rack for your snorkeling gear. That is very convenient.
The room on the surface seemed clean. The floor needs a thorough wet cleaning session. The water comes under the shower door. So beware that it can be slippery getting out of the shower. A minor issue: upon arrival there was a running toilet. After addressing this to the staff it wasn’t fixed.

What was the highlight of Coron Westown Resort
Good
Setting is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was well cared for and very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located quite a ways from town and there is no ATM on site. The front desk is not authorized to exchange US Dollars so getting cash is difficult. The only option is riding into town but the pawn shop available to exchange cash closes at 5:00. When I went to pay, their credit card reader was not functional and they requested the entire bill be paid in pesos. When I explained that I was short on pesos because there was nowhere to exchange $$ they didn't know what to do. They were not willing to accept USD. We had no option to pay until, thankfully, the card reader started working?? We had dinner at the restaurant twice since town was so far away. Food was alright generally except it was served cold. That was acceptable for the ribs but was less appreciated for the burger and the Asian noodles. Pizza came hot and maybe they were holding everything until the pizza was ready -- but the timing wasn't great.
